For those customers who were involved and took part, we pledged an Essentials hamper consisting of everyday necessities to a local or national food bank in need.

Over 500 hampers have been donated to food banks in need across the country including independent food banks in our local area and those that are also part of the Trussell Trust.

Your nominated Essentials hampers were donated to one of the charities listed below.

A particular highlight of this project was an email send from Jill Colclough from the Loughborough Salvation Army.

"I’m writing to say a huge thank you for all the lovely gift parcels that you delivered to us today. Overwhelmed with the generosity and they will certainly make people’s Christmas and beyond a lot brighter."

We will continue to do more as part of our Church Pharmacy Cares charity projects over the coming weeks.
