Church Pharmacy Launches

NOVUMA® as Regenerative Aesthetics Gains Ground

The aesthetics market is moving beyond short-term correction. Patients increasingly want results that look natural, develop progressively and support the quality of the skin itself. For clinics, that shift is creating demand for treatment plans built around regeneration as well as volume.

Church Pharmacy has responded by adding NOVUMA®, a calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) collagen biostimulator, to its injectable portfolio.

A New Option for Structural Skin Support

NOVUMA® is designed to deliver both an immediate lifting effect and progressive improvement through collagen stimulation. Its CaHA microspheres provide a scaffold that activates fibroblasts, while the gel carrier gives initial correction and support.

As the carrier and microspheres are gradually broken down, newly produced collagen helps maintain improvements in skin density, firmness and overall quality. This positions NOVUMA® between traditional volumising treatments and regenerative skin protocols, giving practitioners another way to manage structural ageing without relying exclusively on hyaluronic acid.

The product incorporates VIVACY’s Advanced BioSphere Technology, developed to produce smooth, rounded CaHA particles for controlled tissue integration and effective biostimulation. NOVUMA® is a Class III, CE-marked medical device and should only be administered by appropriately qualified and trained healthcare professionals. VIVACY lists its principal treatment areas as the cheeks, facial oval, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Why the Timing Matters

Skin quality has become a central part of the consultation rather than an add-on. Many patients are now less interested in visible augmentation and more focused on firmness, definition and longer-term tissue support.

That creates a clear clinical role for CaHA biostimulation. NOVUMA® can be considered where the objective is not simply to fill a line, but to improve the underlying quality and structural resilience of ageing tissue. It may also help practitioners build more considered treatment journeys by combining immediate support with results that continue to develop over time.

For clinics already offering hyaluronic acid fillers, polynucleotides or other regenerative treatments, NOVUMA® broadens the available toolkit. It is not a replacement for those modalities, but an additional option that can be selected according to tissue condition, facial assessment and the patient’s treatment priorities.

Commercial Relevance for Clinics

The launch gives clinics an opportunity to expand beyond single-product or single-appointment treatment models. Biostimulatory treatments lend themselves to structured consultations, personalised protocols and longer-term review, supporting a more strategic approach to patient retention.

NOVUMA® may also appeal to established patients who want to maintain facial structure and skin quality without pursuing a heavily volumised result. This opens a commercially relevant conversation around progressive treatment planning and well-ageing, two areas continuing to shape demand across medical aesthetics.

As with any advanced injectable, successful integration depends on appropriate patient selection, anatomical knowledge and product-specific training. Clinics should establish clear consultation pathways and avoid positioning CaHA as interchangeable with conventional dermal fillers.

Now Available from Church Pharmacy

NOVUMA® is now available to qualified healthcare professionals through Church Pharmacy, following its introduction to the UK by Laboratoires VIVACY. Its arrival adds a differentiated CaHA option to the pharmacy’s growing regenerative aesthetics portfolio.

Practitioners interested in introducing NOVUMA® should review the product information, confirm relevant training requirements and contact Church Pharmacy for current ordering and educational support.
